Sygic lanceerde vandaag Sygic Mobile 2009. Een reeks applicaties voor mobiele telefoons om te navigeren. In het persbericht van Sygic staat dat Sygic nu volledig compatibel is met de iPhone en dat de applicatie binnenkort verkrijgbaar is via de App Store.

Sygic is de eerste fabrikant die het voor elkaar heeft gekregen om turn by turn navigatie in de App Store te krijgen en daar is Sygic trots op:

Sygic is entering the AppStore to be the first on the market that offers full turn-by-turn navigation for Apple users. “We believe Apple users will benefit soon from Sygic Mobile 2009 turn-by-turn navigation worldwide – the same as all of our customers on different platforms” said Michal Stencl, CEO and founder of Sygic.


De prijs voor de Europese navigatie software voor de iPhone zal rond de €79 euro komen te liggen. Leuk persbericht van Sygic maar nu eerst maar even afwachten of de software echt in de App Store verschijnt…
